Biography
Born in 2002 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Gabriel began studying piano at an early age in a family environment deeply connected to music. He is currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Piano at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig, under the tutelage of Prof. Jacques Ammon, where he will continue his artistic training with a Master’s degree in Piano from 2025.
His musical development has been enriched by studies in chamber music, lied, and vocal accompaniment, as well as masterclasses with renowned international pianists and teachers.
Artistic Vision
For Gabriel Ducatenzeiler Kapp, music is a space for dialogue between tradition and the present. His approach to the piano is based on a solid classical training, enriched by an interest in stylistic versatility, chamber music, and vocal accompaniment.
Each performance seeks a balance between fidelity to the musical text and a personal interpretation, attentive to the historical context, sound, and direct communication with the audience.
